How the hydraulics do the job

The driver parks in line with your car, sets the outriggers or handbrake, and cones the space behind the truck.

The hydraulic ram slides the bed back and tilts it to about 11 degrees, putting the lip flat on the road.

The winch pulls the car up the bed at walking pace; four ratchet straps go over the tyres, not the suspension, and the bed levels off.

What does ونش هيدروليك actually mean?
Wanch (ونش) is the everyday Saudi word for a tow truck. Hydraulic means the bed or the lifting arm is moved by hydraulic rams rather than by hand, which is what lets a heavy car be loaded by one driver in a few minutes.
Is a hydraulic wanch the same as a سطحة?
Almost. Satha (سطحة) specifically means the flat bed. Every satha in our fleet is hydraulic, but a hydraulic wanch can also be a wheel-lift or a crane arm, which is why the two words are not quite interchangeable.
Will the hydraulic bed damage a low car?
Not with extension ramps fitted. A standard bed loads at about 11 degrees; anything with less than 110 mm of clearance gets the ramps, which cut the angle to roughly 5 degrees.
How long does hydraulic loading take?
Four to eight minutes for a car that rolls. A car with a seized wheel or crash damage takes fifteen to twenty because it has to be skated onto the bed.
